Train - Oct 2008 – March 2009
GYI in conjunction with The University of Limerick
Activity Centre will train you in a range of Outdoor Pursuits.
These will include Sailing, Kayaking, Windsurfing, Power boating,
Archery, High Ropes and First Aid. You will also be given
the opportunity to train to instructor level in Sailing and
Kayaking.
Cost: €3,195

- Working
with a tight knit group of hand picked individuals you will
learn how to work within a successful team. Leadership skills
will also be developed through a range of challenges, which
you will encounter throughout the training, work and expedition
phases.
Earn

Earn
- April 2008 – August 2008
Put your newly learned skills to the test as you work in the
challenging yet rewarding outdoor industry. As an outdoor
instructor you will have the opportunity to instruct both
young people and adults in a variety of adventure sports.
Thus, developing both your own and their newfound skills.
Most importantly while doing this UL Activity Centre will
pay you a wage.

GYI has teamed up with Into India to offer an amazing adventure
to finish your gap year on a high. Into India is a new Irish
owned company, which provides expedition adventures across
northern India. You will have the opportunity to take part
in a Trekking and White-water expedition, exploring remote
and amazing locations in the foothills of the Himalayas.
Cost:
TBC (Will be in the region of €3,000)
